The use of best practice techniques and quality control allows OSMA to continually improve its products and product range and helps form the company strategy.

To obtain this continual advancement a Strategy Committee develops and implements quality programs for production and company practice. The committee includes the Managing Director, the Technical Director responsible for Quality control, the Sales Director and the Production Manager.

The Strategy Committee meets regularly to monitor quality and production techniques to implement further improvements and best practice for employees.

Staff and partners working to these OSMA standards of quality have also helped to create a more flexible and open environment at OSMA with training and opportunity an integral part of the OSMA philosophy.

OVERVIEW OF PRODUCTION

The raw materials for the manufacture of Up & Over doors consist of rolls of zinc plated steel that are cold-pressed in our automated profiling and machine stamping production line.

The frame metalwork is subsequently constructed based on the design type of the product designs.

The frame assembly includes welding and, based on the requirements of the order, specific finishing and detailing work. The sheet steel is then spot welded to the formed frames. Other Up & Over doors are also constructed including wood faced and insulated Up & Over doors and also cellar doors.

The doors can be motorised for and readied for automation. Treatments include anti-rust finishes and paint finishes.

All OSMA products are supplied with technical specifications and a user and maintenance manual. All products are CE certified.
